London Launch Checklist

Getting Started

1. Retrieve NetID and password
2. Set up DUO authentication
3. Update personal and family/supporter information in OPUS
4. Log into and begin regularly checking Emory email
5. Download Emory Welcome App

1. Deadline to submit Oxford housing application via MyHousing portal 
2. Deadline for students with diagnosed disabilities to submit housing accommodation requests
3. Deadline to submit EmoryCard photo
4. All placement exams (math, chemistry, first-year writing, and global languages) open in Canvas
5. Create myIESabroad account

1. Deadline to opt out of London dining plan via MyHousing portal

1. Deadline to submit required IES Abroad participant forms 
2. Deadline to submit the required Oxford Launch Traveler Information Form
3. Deadline to submit required Oxford Launch Health & Information Form
4. Deadline to submit the required Oxford Launch Flight Information Form
5. Deadline for London Launch students and supporters to RSVP to London Launch Pre-Orientation 
6. Deadline to submit AP/IB test scores and the Request for Approval of Test Credits form to the Oxford Registrar’s Office
   • We understand some test scores will not be released to students until after July 1, so we ask that students request for the testing organization to send scores to Oxford College as soon as their scores have been released. AP/IB credits will continue to be accepted after July 1. However, we cannot guarantee that requests submitted after July 1 will be processed prior to fall course registration in August. Be sure to send the scores directly to Oxford College (not Emory College/Emory University) for quicker processing.

1. Add parent/sponsor as bill payer in OPUS, if applicable
2. Activate Handshake profile
3. Accept/adjust financial aid
4. Oxford August housing assignments released through MyHousing portal

1. Deadline to submit required IES Abroad travel forms
2. Deadline to register for New Student Orientation 
3. Deadline to submit your final high school transcript and college transcripts for classes taken before summer 2026
4. Deadline to submit Request for Approval of Transfer Credit to the Oxford Registrar's Office
5. Deadline to submit Letter of Consent (FERPA) form 

1. Deadline to enroll in direct deposit in OPUS
2. Deadline to create guest access in OPUS, if applicable
3. Deadline to submit tuition insurance application in OPUS
4. Deadline to submit Financial Responsibility Agreement in OPUS

1. New Student Orientation begins and runs from August 21-25 (London Launch students join this program)

1. Depart Oxford College for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

1. Fall payment due to Student Accounts and Billing via OPUS
